For people with disabilities

Individual support program

The Individual Support Program (ISP) assists people with disabilities to live and actively participate in their community, exercising independence and control over their lives.  Through an ISP, assistance can be given to meet personal care needs and support can be provided with other activities such as shopping and cooking.

People in receipt of an ISP are free to choose the service provider of their choice.  This allows the client to 'shop around' and choose the organisation that best meets their individual needs or transfer to an alternative agency if their needs are not being met.

Parkside encourages ISP clients to select their own team of suppot workers and negotiate the hours of support that fit best with their lifestyle.

The ISP can also fund one-off equipment items for people with disabilities.

Eligibility

In order to receive an ISP you must apply through the Gateway Services (phone 1800 171 233).  For more information, please contact The Parkside Foundation.
